Tim McMenamin, PE, CEM
Founder and Owner
Tim McMenamin has over 30 years of experience working with companies to reduce energy. Tim's industrial projects have involve the world’s largest semiconductor facilities to pharmaceutical, biotech, metals, water, waste water and food processing plants. Throughout his career, he's championed projects involving better designs for HVAC, central plants, compressed air, steam, pumps and other energy intensive systems.
"We want to continue to utilize our knowledge and skills to help facilities improve productivity and energy efficiency while reducing downtime and waste."
Tim started his career as a lead control systems and project engineer at Industrial Design Corporation (IDC - now Jacobs / CH2M Hill) for multiple projects from conceptual design through installation and testing. He analyzed and implemented various energy efficiency strategies and energy saving techniques for industrial facility automated systems.
His strategies have also improved systems increasing quality, functionality, and reliability while reducing waste. Envision Controls Engineering was created because he wanted to focus his expertise to improving energy efficiency, reducing waste, and cutting costs. Tim is a graduate from Washington State University, Professional Engineer, and Certified Energy Manager and continues learning as a member of IEEE, ISA, and AEE.
